The US Department of Veterans Affairs’ mission for Community Living Centers (CLCs) is “to restore each Veteran to his or her highest level of well-being…” This outdoor room provides restorative physical, psychological and social opportunities for CLC residents, while maintaining a safe, protective escape from the institutional hospital environment.
