Coming Street Residence Addition
The proposed addition is representative of a contextually responsive design that respects scale and formal relationships while also introducing a unique and consistent aesthetic.
DESCRIPTION
The project is a renovation and modest addition to an 1840’s Charleston Single House in the historic district of Charleston, SC. The program includes a new Kitchen/Family Room with rear porch on the first floor, and a Master Bedroom Suite and rear deck on the second floor. A Pool/Guest House is also included. The existing 1980’s-era rear addition (shown in the photos) will be removed, and the historic house will be restored.
