Course Description: This course will explain the considerations in specifying the right glazing, including thermal performance, safety, sound control and aesthetics.
• Understand the basic metrics that are used to measure the
thermal performance of an insulated glass unit;
• Determine which type of glazing is considered a safety glazing;
• How to achieve sound-control properties and how to measure their efficiency;
• Understand the elements that can change the aesthetics of your insulated glass.
