The new Berkeley Hospital expansion supports RSFH’s commitment to providing high-quality, convenient care to the community. The hospital expansion will double inpatient capacity from 50 to 100 beds while adding 200,000 sf of new or renovated space, including:
- An expanded ED with additional space to care for more patients, reduce wait times, and improve the overall patient experience
- Improvements to cardiac, orthopedics, and obstetrics services to provide a broader range of patient care
- New inpatient dialysis services to provide continuous, quality care under one roof
The new medical office building will provide comprehensive cardiovascular and cardiac rehabilitation services, new wound therapy services, and relocated mammography services.
