Working towards a statewide network of architects trained in performing rapid building safety assessments following a disaster.
We will identify and advocate for legislation and industry best practices that advance resiliency efforts in the built environment.
We will equip architects, through our Disaster Assistance Program, with the knowledge and skills to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from a disaster, with a broad focus on potential hazards across the South Atlantic Region.
We will foster dialogue to build a network of industry professionals focused on preparing our communities for disasters.
We strive to connect, support, and partner with building officials, emergency managers, and government officials to ensure that architects are known statewide as a valuable resource in the conversation of resiliency.
All industry professionals with experience and knowledge of, or interest in, the topic of resilience in architecture are welcome to join the committee.
Let’s work together.
Your support not only allows AIASC to continue to further our mission and the architectural profession, but provides your organization with numerous ways to connect with your target market.
