The chapter’s annual business meeting took place on April 26th during the 2014 AIASC Spring Conference at Kings Plantation in Myrtle Beach, SC. Special guests included 2013 AIA National President, Mickey Jacob FAIA, and Marguerite McClam PE, whose tireless work helped us get the Architects and Engineers Volunteer Act passed in 2012 and resulted in Good Samaritan protection of design professionals volunteering during a disaster in South Carolina.
